Arrive at Delhi airport. Meet upon arrival with warm Welcome!! Garlanding with fresh marigold flowers and transfer to hotel for check-in. (Check-in time at hotel is 12 noon) Stay overnight at hotel. (No Meal)

Day 02: Delhi
Morning after breakfast proceed for tour of Old Delhi drive pass Red Fort - a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River Yamuna by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, continue to the Jama Masjid, largest mosque built from 1644-1658, during the reign of Emperor Shahjahan. You will end your morning tour on a cycle rickshaw through the famous Chandni Chowk Bazaars, once the shopping arcade of Mughal royalty. Later visit Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial at Raj Ghat, where the Father of the Nation was cremated. (Red fort closed on Mondays). Afternoon proceed for the tour of new Delhi visit Qutab Minar whose construction began in 1200 AD by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, but finally completed by his successors, Iltutmush and Firoz Shah, is believed to be erected as a tower of victory to signify the beginning of the Muslim rule in India. You will drive pass of India Gate, dedicated to the nation 10 years later by the than Viceroy, Lord Irwin. Another memorial, Amar Jawan Jyoti was added much later, after India’s independence and ending the day’s tour with a drive past of the Houses of Parliament and Presidential Palace, both grandiose masterpieces of the British Raj. Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple). Day 03: Delhi – Varanasi (Flight)
Morning after breakfast transfer to hotel to board flight to Varanasi. Meet upon arrival in Varanasi and transfer to hotel for check in. The rest of time at leisure. At the time of sunset proceed to witness the evening aarti (prayer), emitting a spiritual ambiance to this ancient city. During the ceremony, oil lamps are placed in the river followed by aarti as bells ring in the back-round accompanied with chanting and singing, a magical conclusion to this day. Day 04: Varanasi
This early morning at sunrise visit the river Ganges for boat ride tour, witnessing devout Hindus begin their day by offering prayers to the river and the sun. See Varanasi come alive along the banks of the river and people bathing in the holy water and worshiping the rising sun. Witness the conclusion of life at the riverbank holy cremation grounds. It is believed if you die in Varanasi, you go straight to heaven. This place could be one of the most extraordinary experiences of your visit to India. Continue your tour of Varanasi visiting the Durga Temple, another important temple, dedicated to the Goddess Durga. It was built in the 18th century, in the Nagara style of architecture. It has five Shikharas (spires), which commences from the bottom and converges to the top. Locally, the temple is known as the " Monkey Temple" due to the large number of monkeys inhabiting the vicinity. Continue to Tulsi Manas Mandir, built in 1964, devoted to Lord Rama and is believed to have been built on the site where the saint-poet Tulsi Das resided and wrote the epic Ram Charit Manas. The text is engraved on the walls of the temple. The tour will move on to the Bharat Mata Mandir, a unique temple dedicated to Mother India. Benaras Hindu University, the largest residential university in Asia, covering an area of approximately 2,000 acres. It was a gifted by the former Maharaja of Varanasi, who was a scholar of Sanskrit and Hindu philosophy. The institution attracts students from India and abroad, as it is a center of Sanskrit, Indian art, culture, and music. Back to hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast proceed for excursion to Sarnath (9 Kms) an important pilgrimage centre for Buddhist. This is where the Buddha preached his first sermon after getting enlightenment. The city is famous for its magnificent stupas, monasteries, and temples. The rest of the day at leisure. Stay Overnight at the hotel. (Meal: Breakfast)

Day 05: Varanasi – Khajuraho (Flight)
Morning after leisurely breakfast tractor to the airport to board flight for Khajuraho. Meet upon arrival in Khajuraho and tractor to hotel for check in. Afternoon visit the most important and fascinating western group of temples. The temples of Khajuraho have been declared a 'world heritage' site by UNESCO in order to preserve the rich legacy of architecture, bequeathed to future generations by the Kings of the Chandela dynasty. These temples are famous for there intricate sculptures and erotic carvings that are one of the outstanding achievements of Indian art. Also visit the Eastern group of temples which consists of 3 Hindu and 3 Jain temples, there proximity attests to the religious tolerance of the times in general and of the Chandela rulers in particular. Day 06: Khajuraho - Jhansi drive (180 Kms) & Jhansi - Agra (Train)
Morning after breakfast drive to Jhansi. Enroute visit Orchha - walk by the century old temples and forts, each with it's own poignant history, and rest amidst the beauty of the ruins. Amongst the various imposing edifices, of particular interest are the Jehangiri Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of Moghul Emperor Jehangir, the Raj Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan temple, both noted for there fine frescoes and mural. After the visit of Orchha temple tractor to Jhansi railway station to board the train for Agra (1505/1745 hrs.) Meet upon arrival in Agra and tractor to the hotel for check in. Day 07: Agra
Morning after breakfast proceed for city tour of Agra. Visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by Shahjahan in 1648 in memory of his Queen Mumtaj Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy and who took 17 years to complete this 'Love poem in Marble'. (Taj Mahal remain closed on Fridays). Later visit the Agra Fort containing the halls private. Also visit marble cutting center and bazaar. Afternoon free for independent activities. Day 08: Agra - Abhaneri - Jaipur (180 Kms)
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur En route visit Chand Baori is a stepwell situated in the village of Abhaneri. After the tour of Abhaneri continue your drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival Jaipur check in at hotel. Jaipur built by Maharaji Sawai Jai Singh II popularly known as the Pink City in 1727 AD. Designed in accordance with Shilp Shastra - an ancient Hindu treaty on architecture. Day 09: Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort start Enroute to Amber Fort you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of winds. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. A major attraction at Amber is the Elephant Ride all the way upto the Fort entrance. This journey on caparisoned elephants is bound to enrich your memories with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas and leave you with truly unforgettable experience. Inside the fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal- a room with all four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from the Belgium during that period. Afternoon city tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, lunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers. The royal families of Jaipur once used most of these weapons. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of Udaipur city. Among the places visited are the City Palace – a majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake. A conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the Triple arched gate “Tripolia” with eight marble porticos; the Jagdish temple- built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo – Aryan temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with note worthy sculpted images; the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, which houses an interesting collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, paintings etc; the Saheliyon ki Bari with it's many fountains. Morning after breakfast half day excursion of Elephant caves. The Elephanta Caves are a network of sculpted caves located on Elephanta Island to the east of the city of Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The island, located on an arm of the Arabian Sea, consists of two groups of caves—the first is a large group of five Hindu caves, the second, a smaller group of two Buddhist caves. The Hindu caves contain rock cut stone sculptures, representing the Shiva Hindu sect, dedicated to the god Shiva. The rock cut architecture of the caves has been dated to between the 5th and 8th centuries, although the identity of the original builders is still a subject of debate. The caves are hewn from solid basalt rock. All the caves were also originally painted in the past, but now only traces remain. After the tour of Elephant caves back to hotel. (Elephanta caves closed on Mondays) Afternoon proceed for the half day city tour of Mumbai- the great port city with it's Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes ‘Gateway of India’ overlooking the Harbor, the ‘Towers of Silence’, ‘Marine Drive’, the ‘Colaba Causeway’ – the commercial heart of Bombay and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colorful outdoor ‘laundry’. 1) Booking Your Holiday

  •  Your contract in respect of your holiday is made with CANAM Tour Operator (‘the Company‘), registered in Toronto, Canada and all bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.
  • All communications by the Company in relation to your holiday will be sent to the address stated on the booking form.
  • All bookings must be made through an authorised representative of the Company. At the time of booking the Company booking form must be completed and submitted together with a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking.
  • Receipt of the deposit and booking form by the Company does neither guarantee nor imply confirmation of the booking. No booking shall be confirmed until the Company issues a written notice. The Company reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason and shall in that event return any deposit received.
  • Your holiday must be paid in full at least 30 days before the departure date. If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. The person who signs the booking form guarantees payment of the total amount shown on the booking form in accordance with these conditions. It is the responsibility of the signatory to ensure the Company receives payment in full by the due date. No reminders will be sent.
  • If you book within 30 days of your departure date payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
  • All special requests, such as dietary requirements, should be noted on the booking form.
  • The Company will provide the service as set out and confirmed in writing.

2) Price Policy

  • The Company is under no obligation to furnish a breakdown of the costs involved in a holiday.
  • The Company reserves the right to notify you of any increase in price before accepting your booking.
  • After a Confirmation Invoice has been issued, unless you choose to pay for your holiday in full at the time of booking, the price of your holiday is subject to the possibilities of surcharges in certain limited circumstances. However, a surcharge will only be levied to allow for variations in transportation cost, including cost of fuel, increase in normal published airfares, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes at airports, the exchange rate applied to the particular package or if the government or regulatory body introduce an increase of taxes. Even then, the Company will absorb an amount equal to 2%of your holiday price(excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges) before passing on any surcharge to you. Only amounts in excess of this 2% will be surcharged. Surcharges will be notified by a revised Confirmation Invoice sent to you.
  • If a surcharge would increase the total holiday price shown on your original Confirmation Invoice by 10% or more, you may cancel your booking within 14 days of the date of issue of the revised Invoice and obtain a full refund of all payments made to the Company and any amendment charges previously incurred.
  • Optionally, you may choose to pay for your holiday in full at the time of booking, in which case your holiday price will be fixed at the cost quoted by the Company at the time. To qualify for this benefit you should return the Confirmation Invoice to the Company with full payment to reach the Company within 7 days of the date printed on the Confirmation Invoice.
  • The financial commitments offered above by the Company mean that the Company is not able to reduce the holiday prices should the value of the exchange rate of Canadian Dollar changes.

3) Cancellation and Changes by the Company

  • Occasionally it may be deemed necessary to make changes to your holiday and the Company reserves the right to do so at any time, and you will be notified of any changes at the earliest possible opportunity. If a major change to your tour is necessary, providing it does not arise from circumstances beyond the Company’s control, you may choose
    1. to accept the change of arrangements
    2. to purchase another holiday from us or
    3. to cancel your holiday. Compensation may be payable in cases of major change as detailed below.
  • No compensation will be payable for minor changes. Minor changes include minimal changes to departure and arrival times, changes to the type of aircraft used and restaurant and accommodation changes to a comparable or superior standard.
  • Major changes include cancellation, changes to your airport, delays in departure or return by more than 12 hours and accommodation changes to an inferior standard of accommodation.
  • Compensation will not be paid for changes or cancellations caused by Acts of God (Force Majeure), war, threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or man-made disaster, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports, strikes or other industrial action, adverse weather conditions or any other event beyond the Company’s control. It is essential that you take out adequate travel insurance.
  • The Company reserve the right to cancel your holiday at any time before the date of departure, even after a confirmation notice has been sent. If your holiday is cancelled the Company will refund in full the money you have already paid. No compensation will be payable.
  • Transportation is subject to the conditions of carriage of the carrier, some of which may limit or exclude liability. These conditions are often the subject of international agreement between countries and copies of the conditions, which apply to your holiday journey, will normally be found on the carrier’s tickets.
  • If you fail to pay the balance of the holiday price at least 30 days before departure, the Company will treat the booking as cancelled and levy the cancellation charges set out below
  • The company also has the right to refuse any person as a member of the tour, if in their opinion that person could endanger the health, safety and enjoyment of others on the tour. In any of the events mentioned above, the company’s sole liability and the client’s sole remedy will be limited to a refund of any monies paid, less the amount for services already utilised plus administrative fees.

4) Cancellation and Changes by You

  • You may cancel your holiday at any time providing you notify the Company in writing. The following charges will be levied on any cancellation:
    • 30 days or more 50% of Deposit
    • 15 – 30 days 100% of Deposit
    • 8 – 15 days 80% of Tour Cost
    • 1 – 7 days 100% of Tour Cost
  • After the itinerary is confirmed, the client is permitted free of administration charges one set of amendments, though will be liable for any added cost this may add to the tour, including airline charges, hotels etc. Any further modifications, which are instigated by the client, will incur a charge which will be due to communication and administration expenses that may have incurred.

5)  Our Responsibilities

  • The Company does not own or manage the aircraft, accommodation, restaurants and other facilities used in conjunction with the tours arranged. While the Company has exercised care in selecting providers of travel, accommodation, restaurants and other facilities, the Company have not had the opportunity to inspect and do not represent that such aircraft, accommodation, restaurants, and other facilities and services have been inspected.
  • The Company is not responsible if you or any member of your party suffer death, illness or injury as a result of any failure to perform or improper performance of any part of our contract with you where such failure is attributable to
    1. the acts and/or omissions of any member of the party, or
    2. those of a third party not connected with the provision of your holiday, or
    3. an event which neither the Company or the service provider could have foreseen or prevented even with due care.
  • Should any member of your party suffer illness, injury or death through misadventure arising out of an activity, which does not form part of the holiday the Company has arranged for you the Company cannot accept liability. The Company will offer general assistance where appropriate.
  • The Company regret that no refund will be made on unused tickets where travel, sporting event or other types of ticket, unless a refund can be obtained from the carrier or provider.

6)  Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance, though an appropriate policy can be incorporated into your tour package. Details of all insurance policies held by each member of your party must be provided on the booking form. No booking forms can be accepted without sufficient proof that personal policies have been arranged. Please ensure that your insurance cover applies to the specific activities you are booking and which are confirmed on the Confirmation Invoice.
  • Each member of the party must have a valid passport, visas and all necessary documentation for the countries they are touring. The Company accept no responsibility for any delay or expense should your documents not be in order.
  • You are responsible for checking-in for flights at the correct time and for presenting yourself to take up all pre-booked components of your holiday. The Company cannot accept responsibility for clients missing flights as a result of late check-ins and no credit or refunds will be given if you fail to take up any component of your holiday. No credit of refunds will be given for lost, mislaid or destroyed travel documents.
  • By booking a holiday with the Company you undertake to behave in an orderly manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of others on holiday with you nor to do anything to bring the reputation of the Company into disrepute. If you breach this clause your holiday will be terminated with immediate effect and the Company will have no further contractual obligation to you. The Company will be entitled to recover from the offending party and/or the person who signed the booking form compensation for any damage caused.
  • It is the responsibility of the person who signs the Booking Form to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that members of their party may have.
  • All equipment and personal effects shall be all times and in all circumstances at the owner’s risk. The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage or delay to your luggage or effects unless directly caused by the negligence of one of our representatives.

7) Smoking

The Company forbids smoking in any vehicle operated by the Company. Frequent stops can be arranged for those who desire to smoke. All accommodation will be reserved with non-smoking rooms, unless the client specifically requires a smoking room. Confirmation is depending on hotel availability.

8) Waiver

The Company will undertake to ensure the safety of the client throughout the tour, however aspects of each particular tour may not be without an element of danger. Clients should be prepared to sign a ‘Waiver of Responsibility’ form before they begin their tour. This form is an understanding that all clients need to exercise judgement and care at all times to ensure their own safety and that of their fellow tourists.

9) Disclaimer

The Company has made all reasonable efforts to check the accuracy of the information contained in our website. The Company cannot however accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions that may appear in this site.

10) Complaints

  • If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant airline, hotel, local agent of other suppliers immediately so that they can endeavour to put things right. If you cannot resolve the problems, you must contact the Company office so that they are given an opportunity to help. The Company will not hold themselves responsible for the non-performance of an itinerary through causes beyond their control or when they are not notified of a problem at the point where remedial action can be taken. In the unlikely event that a complaint cannot be resolved at the time, your should write to the Company within 28 days of returning home, giving your original booking reference number and all other relevant information. If you fail to take any of these steps you will hinder the Company’s ability to put any problem right and/or investigate it fully and any right you have to receive compensation will be reduced or completely invalidated.
  • Any dispute that may arise will be governed by Canadian law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the Canadian Courts.
  • All information given by the Company whether in writing or orally is to the best of the Company’s knowledge and believed correct at the time given and is given in good faith. The booking conditions shall take precedence over any other warranty or condition that may have been given.

11) Data Protection Act

It may be necessary for the Company to ask you for certain personal information. Examples of this would be dietary requirements, disability/medical or religious information etc. This information will be kept confidential by the Company and is available to you to inspect during the Company’s normal working hours. It will be passed to the suppliers, if it is necessary for them to know this information in order to fulfill the Company’s contract to you.
